Karen O, lead singer of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs is a woman after my own heart. Someone who delights in extreme fashion adventures. Last Friday, Miss O was darkly luminous in head to toe black, white and silver. Her outfit, while amazing, was not really what you could wear walking down the street, no matter how much rock star attitude you have.

Her harsh, tight black sequined body suit, and signature black sequined fingerless glove merged with a long, tinsel like silver streamer tail hanging down her back. This was also accompanied by a silver streamer lined men's fedora. Just when all of this could have seemed a 'bit much' she toned things down with high top Chuck Taylors (painted in black and white chevrons).

I think Karen O is an icon of hip street style.
