Holt Renfrew Meet the Designers

SD+R (sex, drugs and rock'n roll)

Even with all the hot bod models and sexy clothes shown throughout the week, nobody sells sex like the SD+R trio who transformed the Phoenix Nightclub into a "Kyoto Ghetto" to show off their one-of-a-kind biker meets dirty wild west creations.

Oversized murals and props helped turn the main stage into a strip club, complete with a buxom booty pole dancer surrounded by dirty boys who smoked and drank throughout. Models strutted with attitude fueled by the rockin' music, electrified crowd and re-worked ensembles.

The three who make up SD+R, Tyler Scherer, Teddy Lawson and Kyle Deinstadt work together in the "chop shop", a studio/garage where they basically bang, paint and deconstruct individual items to create heavily embellished jeans, blazers, tees and skirts. Whether a vintage find or a clients own, every piece is decorated with rivets, paint, leather and chains. There are embroidered patches, metal trinkets and fur creating interest on backs, sides and insides.

The boys hope to move to production in the near future so one-of-kind items will only be available for a short time.

Prices start at $150
Available at Anti-Hero and 'The Chop Shop', 51 Bulwer Street
