Izzy Camilleri’s Liquid Lux begins with the sounds of rainfall and thunder, as models walk along a glassy black catwalk, reflecting the patent leather emblematic of the collection. Patent is everywhere – adding sinful seduction to silks, embossed crocodile leather, fur, even sequins! Models tower on shining black patent pumps with rhinestone heels, and wear elbow length leather gloves edged with a striking three inches of glossy black.

The restrained eroticism of the collection continues with a steel blue pencil skirt and tailored jacket, set off with a massive fur collar and cuffs of the same colour. Angel sleeved and cowl-backed micromini dresses cut from sparkling copper dazzle the audience. Imagine the Jetson’s colliding with Venus in Furs, and you’ve got an idea of Camilleri’s new collection for the fall.
