Buy Design is one of T.O's most fashionable fundraisers with hundreds of guests dressing up each year to raise funds for Windfall Clothing, Canada's only clothing bank. For the 2006 edition, industry celebs gathered for a glamorous evening of 50s couture in The Distillery District.

Hosted by Julia Grieve and Adrian Mainella from Diva on a Dime, Buy Design ’06: Into the Atelier brought the 50s to life with a dazzling display of well-costumed ladies and gents complete with 50s cocktails, a nostalgic movie lounge and 50s tunes.

Shoppers clamoured among dozens of fabulous donations up for grabs at the silent and live auctions - including designer clothing and accessories, beauty items, show tickets, art, vacations...!

As well, stylists were on hand to doll-up babes for a photoshoot by NOW photographer, David Hawe; a DIY couture station allowed crafters to decorate ties and jackets; and local designers provided gorgeous gowns for a quick fashion show.
