Donate your old bra for 'Dead Bra Day'

To encourage all women to rise to the challenge, Secrets From Your Sister (560 Bloor Street West) will celebrate Dead Bra Day with a special sale: bring in a “dead” bra and receive a 20% discount towards the purchase of a new one.

In an effort to do their part to help those who are less fortunate, the store will donate any bras in good condition to the Women's Own Detox Centre Fund for women recovering from drug addiction.

Clothing Drive - Donate your clothes

2008 Towers Clothing Drive

A fundraiser/clothing drive for the Yonge Street Mission. Volunteers are needed for a variety of tasks at different times. Drop off locations are throughout the downtown PATH and Toronto City Hall.

Each year the drive collects over 100,000 pounds of clothing which goes to the Double Take Store which sells quality used clothing while providing job training for community members.

For one day and one night, each store will donate 10% of their sales to ACT. Our hope is to inspire you to spread the word, get informed and support those in our community living with, and affected by HIV/AIDS.

New Fashion Talent Show was created to give fashion related artists the opportunity to showcase their talent and be recognized for their work through an annual charity fashion show.

Exhibitors at the New Fashion Talent Show will share the experience with some of the established and upcoming designers from all over the world. We are committed to inspiring young entrepreneurs by bringing together entertainers, designers and artists to celebrate the process of creativity; all in an effort to support a worthy charity.

This year we are very pleased to be raising funds for Manos Unidas (www.manosunidas.ca), a non profit Canadian organization which mission is to teach parents how to prevent health related issues and to support children with life threatening deceases.
