News * New

hi, I'm Rachel (PR freelancer, ex-fashion school student and founder of TSF.com). I started the blog way back in 2005 (before there was barely anything about Toronto fashion online) and spent many really fun years documenting fashion and street fashion in Toronto!

I recently had my second baby boy and my days of fashion parties, designer shows and frivolous shopping are but a happy memory. I still work a little on the blog, do other freelance writing and PR when I can!

So, please don't feel offended if I haven't responded to your E-mail, party invite or store opening. I do pass invites along to other bloggers though and we try to cover what we can!

Thanks for reading!

Here’s how it works

1. Get a passport from any of the participating stores (listed above).

3. Once the passport is stamped with 9 of the participating stores, you become eligible for all of deals that are offered from all 30+ participating Queen of Hearts stores until the end of the month (and believe us, they are GOOD deals, half price, 2 for 1, and more).

4. Finally, come to Trinity Bellwoods Park and sign our giant ‘heart in the park’ – leave some lipstick kisses, declare your love, or ask someone to Marry You. It’s a giant public love note – and it’s free.

National Sweater Day: Keep Warm While Keeping The Planet Cool

Monday, January 31st, 2011

photo: http://jakandjil.com/blog/

For National Sweater Day, February 17, 2011, WWF Canada is encouraging everyone to put on a sweater and turn down the heat at least 3 degrees to reduce carbon dioxide and help fight climate change.

There are a lot more ways to really help besides turning down your own heat: you can organize a workplace cool down, have a little sweater party or plan a little event that helps raise cash for the organization.

For more ideas, check out the website http://wwf.ca/takeaction/sweater_day/
