1st look Katya Revenko (fall09)

It was great to see Toronto-based, talented designer Katya Revenko at the fashion week finale fete at the Burroughes Building this past weekend.

With a textured rack of clothes on stand-by, pieces from her Fall 2009 collection, Katya explained that her design focus was on the tonal quality and colors and not any particular story. Although the clothing is not screaming brights, the hues are subtly electric, in shades of Revenko's common amber and azures, with a tie-dyed tunic thrown into the mix.
