Haute Goth at Twilight T.O.
I am starting to think about what fabulous outfit I need to put together for a friend’s annual themed holiday party next week. This year the theme is ‘Haute Goth’ – avant garde, black chiffon, lace, crinolin, TIm Burtonesque couture, so fitting during this crazed Twilight/New Moon age of vampires (photos will definitely follow!).

Imagine showing up to a party accessorized in these lace and PVC corset gloves or lace neck corset- Haute!

Torontostreetfashion.com sponsor and local designer Olga, the sole designer behind Decadent Designs is practically a rags to riches story for any aspiring fashion designer or even those of us who want to make our own custom clothes. She is a self-taught custom clothier of mainly feminine, opulent ‘goth’ wear, who perfected her business by years of practice.
She learned sewing and pattern drafting basics from a book she found at the library and then years of commitment and practice, practice and more practice allowed her to tone her skills by studying specific garments and figuring out how they were made.
Decadence Designs is a full-time, home-based business selling now selling strictly online (with most customers coming from the U.S.) and at the occasional fashion event (find details on her website). Custom pieces are a specialty and customers can contact Olga and meet with her for a consultation. Olga@decadentdesigns.ca
