Torontostreetfashion.com RE-LAUNCH
In the past (almost) five years of being online, Torontostreetfashion.com has seen many formats; several design changes; and tons of erratic content. What began as a solely Toronto-focus fashion industry website is refreshingly morphing into a wider range fashion/style blog. Not only are our interests changing; but so are the readers and people finding themselves on the site – and that is why we are attempting a “re-alignment”. As part of the new Torontostreetfashion.com, we aren’t planning to build a beast (even with the committed efforts of site volunteers, we simply don’t have the time or resources to really create the special site we imagine…); we will however be switching up content to appeal to a broader audience – and focus more on style vs. shopping.
Torontostreetfashion.com is still a part-time initiative, and as such makes no apologies for not maintaining its reputation of being the coolest cat on the block. Our best years were spent nurturing the scene at the grassroots level; encouraging media to step up their support; and attending more parties and events than we had time for!
Fortunately, in the past while several Toronto-based websites and blogs are reporting on local fashion happenings and there is now an abundance of information available online (quite a change since when we started)!
So, thanks for all your support; shout outs to friends and invites to contributors… Looking forward to a renewed interest!

Rachel, congratulations on joining the wordpress army! Seems like every once in a while your feed cuts out and I wonder if you’ve gone, but I’m glad you’re still keeping the site fresh years later. Wish we saw you around more often.
