Did you pick up your free copy of NOW Magazine this week? It seems that Fashion editor Andrew Sardone must’ve fought for a little extra space this issue to fill with fashion week notes and previews!

I must congratulate our very own Irene Stickney for becoming a runner-up in the NOW Magazine Design Challenge “The 10 finalists in NOW’s Designer Challenge will be unveiled Tuesday (October 17) at the Distillery District (55 Mill) during Toronto Alternative Fashion Week’s (www.getfat.ca) opening night. Guests will vote for outfits ranging from a slouchy newsboy ensemble to a Wonder Woman-style outfit. From October 19 to 30, each design will be featured in the window of a different boutique around Toronto, and shoppers will have a chance to make their pick.
